Relaxes tension and helps relieve stress related pain as well as hypertension, angina and other heart ailments caused by stress.

Vasodilator when brewed hot, Mucilaginous when cooled down. Relaxing to the nervous system. Helps to come to a parasympathetic place. Good for someone who’s heart needs some care, loving & holding. Nervousness. Insomnia. Cramps. Indigestion caused by an inability to relax while eating. Flowers used in combination with other cold-preventative herbs (such as elder flower, yarrow and sage) at the onset of a cold or flu. Linden flower bath to treat insomnia, hyperactivity & anxiety and to calm irritable & restless children.

Flower essence is used where one needs to calm emotional turmoil.
